Brown disses Young
Rich Young, Hal Brown, and I went to breakfast a couple of weeks ago to talk about gambling addiction and just generally meet up and talk. Recently Hal has been discussing who the power brokers are in Middleboro on his new blog. I was put in the “might be” category and identified as “certainly a local celebrity”. Other potential power brokers were Adam Bond, Jessie Powell, Allin Frawley, Mike Solimini, and Greg Stevens.
Notably absent from this list is CasinoFacts.org President Rich Young – pictured here. You can almost see the wistful sadness and imagine a tear welling up in the corner of his eye for being looked over like this — like the crying Indian in those old anti-litter commercials.
Buck up Rich … buck up.

I wouldn’t call anyone on that list a “power broker” and if one has to play nice with the “pro-casino losers”, to become a local celebrity, count me out!
