I’ll be playing at Eddy Homestead this coming Saturday 8/14 from around 12-1. I’ll also be at the Flat Iron Cafe on Saturday 8/21. I’d love to see you there to support this cool local asset. I’m referring to the Homestead not myself. Though I am pretty cool and I am a local ass .. et.


MIDDLEBORO — Descendants of Pilgrims John and Samuel Eddy will gather next Saturday, Aug. 14, for their annual reunion at the historic Eddy Homestead in East Middleboro.

Lunch will be served at noontime, featuring hot dogs, hamburgers, salads, baked beans, beverage and dessert.

Following the afternoon program, visitors may tour the 1803 Eddy Homestead, the home built for prominent local attorney Zachariah Eddy and his bride, Sarah Edson.

Tickets for the cookout are $15 for adults, $7.50 for children 6-12, under 5 free. Reservations should be made as soon as possible. Checks payable to the Eddy Homestead Association should be mailed to Richard Cormier, 75 Taber St., New Bedford, MA 02740.
