Ha, Ha, Marshall likes Mashpee better
In this video, Tribal Chairman Glenn Marshall reveals that the Wampanoag will try to get hundreds of acres of Mashpee land put into trust along with the Middleboro land.
In one revealing exchange Marshall shows a disturbing disdain for the casino resort – making it even clearer why he wants a casino in Middleboro but not in Mashpee where the Tribe resides. It’s reminds me of the great video where the national leader of the casino industry lobby, Frank Fahrenkopf, said he’d oppose a casino where he lived.

Reporter – One one hand you’ve got this mega resort casino …
Marshall – (laughs knowingly) Oh yeah, yeah
Reporter – An then you have this place(meaning Mashpee)
Marshall – (smiling fondly) Yeah. I like this place better.
Well Glenn I’ve got news for you.
We like our place better.
The interview also has a confident Marshall saying that he thinks Governor Patrick will decide in his favor.
