Bellicose Bumpkin

One of my recent Middleboro Gazette columns discussed the reasons that I wouldn’t apply for a spot on the IT Assessment Committee. I had a number of people ask me to reconsider that decision including two selectmen. I ended up changing my mind and applied for a spot on 8/16. At the last BOS meeting the packet included correspondence from everyone that applied and a letter from TM Cristello with his recommendations.

As it turns out, Cristello had interviewed everyone and made his selections before I applied. The people chosen seem to have strong skills and decidedly less baggage than me so it’s all good.
