Middleboro election – update 2

This is prelimary for now and I’ll update as info comes in:

McKinnon beats Spataro by 50 votes
Rullo beats Stevens by 73 votes
Perkins beats Beaulieu by 43 votes
Haber loses to incumbent School Committee by 133
Belanger over Baldwin by 22,231 votes

Very close indeed. Congratulations to the winners and thanks to all for participating. If the McKinnon result stands thanks to Steve S. for his service. I disagree with many of his positions but there’s no arguing with the time commitment he’s made over the years in service of the town.

Update 2 – Don Baldwin won his right-in campaign despite a last minute attempt to take the seat by someone(don’t know who) that staged a write-in/sticker campaign at the MHS.

Update
Here are the results from the town clerk.

Congrats to Steve McKinnon. At least we have the beginning of change.

However, I am quite disappointed that Beaulieu lost in a close race with Perkins, and that Haber didn’t make the SC.

If that margin holds, it’s a great disappointment after all the condescending comments Spataro has made about town residents.

Someday, that could be any one of us standing at the podium to ask a question only to be met with that type of verbal assault.

I think Ralph Kramdens tactics backfired.

Belanger over Baldwin by 22,231 votes!

WOW! That must have been a record voter turn out at the polls to win by that margin.

    Congratulations to all the winners.

    RE: NOCASINO

Please I am willing to let this go. I thought I heard something I asked a question.

If you need to know what the exact 3 letters in the begining of that word was I’ll pay for an indepedent software engineer to tell you what it says.

BB can do the same thing take.

    Please let it go.

Coffee Shop Talk said it was
“You Laywer” break it down like I did and then tell me what I heard.

Don’t forget I did not have replay listening to the radio.

From what I understand Mr Mckinnon has a speach impediment.

I am truley Sorry for asking a question.

    Just let it go.

    Regarding Mr. McKinnon’s speech impediment.
If you call telling it like it is an impediment, then yeah, I guess that’s what he’s got.

For the record . I have spoken to SM on many occasions and at length. He does not have a speech impediment.

I didn’t think so, thus the sarcasm in my last comment.

I got that. I was referring to the “Hey – there goes a racist” crowd that first floated this bogus issue.
